Junior Games Captain
Hello, I’m Isabel Bull and I am the new Junior Sports Captain.
I have been at GHS since year 7 and sport has definitely been the highlight of my school life. During my time at GHS I have taken part in a huge variety of sports including netball, lacrosse, badminton, cross country, biathlons and swimming in the winter as well as cricket, tennis, athletics and rounders in the summer. With netball and lacrosse being my main sports I have been lucky enough to represent GHS at many matches, county and national tournaments, where we won the U14 lacrosse and U16 netball nationals.

Sport at GHS has allowed me to form amazing friendships and bonds with my teams that will last me a lifetime. We are so lucky at GHS that we are given all these opportunities and everyone can find a sport to enjoy.
As Junior Sports Captain I want to be able to share my love for sport with others and get as many young girls involved as possible. I think it is important to try as many new things as you can from a young age and so teaching girls new skills and new games to play together will hopefully inspire everyone to join in. I believe everyone can love sport as long as they find what they enjoy.
As part of my role I want to act as a mentor to the girls and be the person they can come to for advice about sport. I think it is important to have someone who isn’t a coach or a teacher to confide in when you feel you need someone to talk to. I am here as a link between the girls and the teachers. I hope I can make an impact in my role and help the girls become confident in their sporting abilities.
